To: All members of the Gettysburg SDA Church
Subject: Financial support of the Church during PA Conference and Government mandated shutdown of the Church and School facilities.
As your finance committee it is our responsibility to keep you advised that during this unfortunate time of no congregating and limited contact we ask that you (our Constituents) remember that the Church has financial obligations: The Church School, Mortgage, Insurance, Utilities, Water Testing, Live Stream, Miscellaneous General Expense, etc.)
Please set aside some time in your schedules to continue your faithful support for your church by doing one of the following:
- ) Continue your giving pattern, i.e., if you contribute weekly, twice monthly, or monthly please continue to do so.
- ) Mail your contributions to the Church PO Box (Number will be provided when you call the Finance Committee representative) please contact a board member for that email address or phone number.
- ) Or go to the Church Website and register for online giving; again if you need assistance to sign up contact a Church Board Member for the individual you need to reach for guidance through this process.
Again, it cannot be overstated for the Church to remain solvent even in times of mandated closure, we still owe our gratitude to God for being with us through these times by holding onto and exercising our faith in Him and by returning to Him that which is His. We are in a position which I dare say any of us thought would be at this time; however, now is the time to not waver but to push forward and remember our individual commitments to God's cause!
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and we will continue to monitor our fiscal health during these extraordinary times and keep you apprised.
